Christina / Grooming Manager

Christina has been working in the grooming industry since 2021. She brings with her not only several years of grooming experience but also a Master’s degree in Art from the University of Illinois. Her artistic background gives her a creative eye and attention to grooming details – a unique background for a groomer. When she became a groomer, Christina merged her passion for animals with her artistic abilities. She loves grooming dogs and cats along with educating clients on the various aspects of pet care, from pet skin to coat health. Her favorite dogs to groom are huskies and doodles but she enjoys working with all breeds. No matter the breed or cut, she takes great pride in ensuring she’s giving your dog a beautiful groom and professional service. Christina ensures every pet that comes across her grooming table is well taken care of and treated like a member of her own family.

When she is not grooming, Christina likes to spend time with her own furry pets, drawing, and being with her family. She loves what she does and without her, this shop wouldn’t exist!

James / Groomer

James has been working as a professional dog groomer since 2022, building on more than 15 years of hands-on experience with dogs in a variety of settings. His background includes training a search and rescue dog, which shaped his calm, observant approach and deep understanding of canine behavior—skills he brings into every grooming session.

With a soft spot for poodles, James is especially thrilled to work with large dogs. From shepherds to mountain dogs, the fluffier the better! In addition to breed-standard grooming, James also offers creative services such as coat coloring and airbrushing. Give him a theme or concept, and watch your vision come to life with attention to detail and a focus on your dog’s comfort from start to finish.

Outside of the salon, James spends time with his husband CJ, and their dog, Fizz. His interests include gaming, reading, and various crafts—creative outlets that further curate the precision and inspiration he brings to his work.

CJ / Receptionist

Our newest member of the team, CJ is the friendly voice and organized mind keeping everything running smoothly at the front desk. With 3 years in the grooming world and over 20 years of experience in customer service and operations management, he knows how to keep schedules tight and tails wagging. Whether he’s coordinating appointments or answering your questions with his vast animal knowledge, CJ is always ready to help make your pet’s visit a great one.

In his time away from the front desk, CJ enjoys diving into creative worlds—whether that’s sketching new ideas, getting lost in a good game, or dabbling in computers and tech. He shares his days with his husband James and dog Fizz (who clearly approves of his career choice).
